SoA fields five |
Author: steady |
Our new roster is again a good blend of talent and experience.
After a lot of talk behind the lines within the team we have found that a new build of the SoA team was necessary. This means that the old lineup of four:
Troels 'Zoop' Magnussen
Bajlit 'zE-' Lal
Emil 'soga' von Buchwald
Martin 'woodi' Holm
For the future will be consisting of the following five:
Troels 'Zoop' Magnussen
Bajlit 'zE-' Lal
Søren 'PyNNE' Hald
Casper 'Lapez' Thunø
Christian Ulrik 'turkizh' Bindslev-Jensen
As we said with the last line-up change we are focusing on finding the up-coming players as well as some established ones and mixing them together.
As for the players leaving we would like to thank both Martin Holm and Emil von Buchwald for their time with us and we wish them good luck with their future projects.
Emil von Buchwald has decided to slow down with Counter-Strike as it would give him more spare time after school and at some point work. He has decided that to compete at this level demands too much time in comparison to what he would like it to take at the moment. We trust that he will still be around on the Danish scene, just not spending as much time practicing in the future. However, we hope one day to see him come back with the desire to play as much as it demands.
Martin Holm is sadly the victim of military engagements. He has to go off to the military and we have a hard time convincing them that gaming is as important as performing your civil duty. Having a player like Martin Holm in your squad makes you feel at ease when playing against the toughest opponents, so we are naturally very sad to see him go and we really hope to see him return to us or Counter-Strike in general, once he is over with these trivial matters.
Both players part with us leaving an image of two great gamers that were able to perform in a professional manner and always gave it their best.
The three new players in SoA come with very different backgrounds.
Søren "PyNNE" Hald has previously played with the gamers from the Asylum-house. Back then his nick was “pynzx” but he grew out of that nick and now it is just “PyNNE”.
Casper "Lapez" Thunø has performed in the SoA jersey before, when he participated with the team at a SLAP LIVE event. Here he played well and has afterwards been playing with the very top of Danish counter-strike.
Christian "Turkizh" Ulrik Bindslev-Jensen has been playing counter-strike for a lot of years. He has a tremendous talent and ambition to hone this talent and therefore he now plays in our team.
Lastly we would like to thank the people supporting us and we look forward to seeing you on LAN!
