SoA back to basics |
Author: steady |
For some time now we have been using our focus on bringing home new talents. However, things are about to change.
Recently Baljit ‘zE-‘ Lal received a transfer offer from Ravens and reported back to us, that he was considering it, as it was a big wish of his to play with turkizh. After giving more than a year and a lot of work to us he decided to accept the offer. Naturally, we understood his decision and thought it best for him, us and Ravens to have him playing where the motivation is greatest. He has been a loyal, professional player for us and we thank him for the time here.
That left us with four players. These players have all worked well for us and been a good face to the public. However, results have been missing which have been frustrating for players and fans. Unfortunately the loss of zE- meant the loss of a lot of routine from LANs and alike on the team and we had to look at our opportunities again.
We had several enquiries from teams wanting to become part of our organization. We told our current 4 players that we considered the teams offered and amongst them we had one particular team. Many of the players on that team have been a part of SoA before. We felt it natural to look at the enquiry from p00nhandlers. From them we have seen a lot of good results lately and they were really eager to join up with SoA again.
After talking it over within the organization we found that we had to look for a team bringing in results and therefore our new team will consist of the following five players:
Rasmus 'FaagaN' Møller Thomsen
Oliver 'Minet' Ari Minet
Jack 'wazorN' Henriksen
Timm 'ArcadioN' Henriksen
Michael 'FriiS' Friis Jørgensen
We look forward to participating in WCG, Extreme Masters, SLAP LIVE, KGC and every other major competition out there. Our expectations to our new team are high and especially at the Danish events we expect them to finish at top 3.
Naturally, we want to thank xLo, Zoop, skiZo and DON_OLIVER for their time in SoA. The last we have heard they will stick together and play as a team – news will enlighten us all at a later date. We wish them the best of luck and will work for them to continue in the competitions where they have represented us.
You can all see our now former lineup one last time in Extreme Masters this night against Austrian side Geh ab Clan. You can find the HLTV IP at HLTV.org.
